http://www.soulmystic.tv for webisode – Importance of Laughter, Isis Temple, Egypt
The wisdom of the ancients has been written in hieroglyphics and the secrets of life are in plain site. Over time we lost the ability to interpret or remember their messages. Ancient Egyptians tell us that a secret to life is – laughter.
Inside the Temple of Isis, Egyptologist, Hassen Khalil, guides on tour of Isis Temple on the Island of Philae, Egypt. He explains some of the highlights to us. Here he explains that ancient Egyptians believed laughter is a ‘Key to Heaven’. He says that “We must keep laughing. Laughing with one another is human but to laugh at one another it is in-human. Egyptian’s would sing, “laugh with me” but don’t laugh at me. “
How do you make yourself laugh?
With respect! BES, the god of laughter and fear – means fright. He is represented as dwarf-like man with abilities of a monkey to be able to jump. He also has the face of a lion to make you ‘fearful’. They understood laughter as a game to play with your higher self.
If you have fun – Laugh.
If you have fear – Laugh.
Bes means laugh when in fear. With his monkey attributes, Bes has the ability to jump with fun and when in fear, jump into laughter. As you dance, play, sing on the stage of life, you are functioning on a higher level of the Self.
The hieroglyphics show us Bes has been granted a beautiful hat with seven feathers. In ancient Egypt teachings, if you have one feather it means you are a very important and well-respected. If you have two feathers, you are Amon Ra, god of supreme justice.
If you have seven feathers, you are in the 7th heaven. All your chakras are lined up – you are happy and in harmony. You are energetically in alignment. Your body, mind and spirit are aligned.
Inside the ancient Egyptian disco, Bes reminds us to play and listen to music to create harmony with ourself and our higher self. At a deeper level it’s the joy within ourself when we are living in harmony with our higher self that we create music in our life and in the world.
As we are reminded to connect with our higher self and remember where we are going on our path. Learn about ancient teachings written in heiroglyphics on temple walls that remind us to have fun, play and laugh on our life journey. Laugh at your fears and jump with the music of joy.
